So after the initial flurry of excitement and feeling almost like a celebrity, life returns to ordinary. On the agenda is a shopping trip for some new Spring looks, an al fresco lunch because finally the sun has come to the city, and the hunt for a new café for a late afternoon coffee. It feels good to be out and about and not having to use a bus or the subway to avoid the gusty cold winds. I wanted to walk for miles today to stretch my lazy winter legs and we did.
As the semester winds down the stress increases as there are many papers to grade, projects to finish up and plans to be made for the Fall. The blog seems to require more and more time and it is as if I have two jobs now. This makes weekends especially important and we have an agreement that there must be at least one completely relaxing day. For this outing and that reason, I chose the most comfortable clothes in my closet.

When I have a wind-down day, I love my tan or grey ankle pants, paired with a flowy black top and silver flats. I forego the full make-up thing and just wear gloss and mascara.
